I hate my bank. they "lost" my deposit envelope of 400 dollars... which consisted primarily of cash (I do restraunt work).... so I'm fucked out of money. the cash is untraceable, the checks didn't go through.
don't know how i'm gonna eat/ pay bills... don't know how I'm going to be able to move in the next month when I get kicked out of this place. This is a big giant FUCK.
My bike, otherwise known as my only form of transport, got the tire blown on sunday... so i've been walking everywhere. and now I have no money to fix it.
This week of finals has been hell, and it's not stoping for the next 4 days.
As if I wasn't stressed out enough already. I'm going to write a 20 page paper before tomorrow at 9am... followed by work until 11 at night.

1. What were you like in high school? What were you into? What crowd did you "hang with"?
heh, this should be interesting...
For my freshman and sophmore years, I hung out with the 'jock' crowd, mostly because I had grown up playing baseball with all of them since I was about 10. but that didn't last long... mostly because they were really homophobic, and were just plain idiots. I ended up hanging out with the theatre/video game geeks because my two best friends Ben and vincent happened to hang with that crowd. so yeah, that was uh, interesting. By my junior/senior year, I pretty much lived in the Art room, and was the 'artist guy' on campus, and was again involved with the theatre... I was an art-fag before being an art-fag was cool. so yeah, I think I covered the whole spectrum of 'groups' while in highschool. What's interesting is that during all this time I was starting to listen to Industrial music... all the gateway stuff, like KMFDM, PIG, Skinny Puppy... but you would have never guessed if you saw me.
2. Tell me a funny childhood memory
I was attacked by goats when I was like 6. My mom had an art studio on a ranch off of Highway 1 in SC, and the goats were let out of their pen some how... and the basically started chasing me, and my mom didn't hear me screaming for help. but when she did, she started fighting them off while they tried to head butt me. finally this really big lady came out with a huge rock and scared the goats away... meanwhile I was tossed under the electrical fence near the horse pen, so that I was 'safe'. fuckin' goats.
3. You have a fascination with and talent for combining tangible art with sound in innovative and impressive ways. Describe an idea you have for this type of thing that you would like to realize in your lifetime. Is it related to your future career goals?
yes, absolutely related... It's really a field that is just starting to be explored, especially with the technology that we have these days.... and I'd like to be able to capitalize on it. I'm realising that my physical art practice can be combined with my passion for music. The potential for this is unlimited... I'd like to continue to explore the interactive aspects of these 'sculptures' in particular. Infact, I'm very interested in creating my own 'instruments' with them and having some sort of hybrid between functionality and sculptural qualities. I'd really like to get to a point where I can make my own music with these... or even perform with them.
There are a lot of directions that I can go, really.... which is great.
hopefully I'll have the project that I've been working on complete to some degree by the end of the week... in which case you all will be able to see what I've been working on.

So I'm starting to get sick :/ the worst possible time too!
I have so much going on this week with school and club/night life that I can't afford to be ill...
I went to COP International today and did some work for Christian... and blew some cash on some music. Some great music mind you, I just picked up:

I hope to see all of you East Bay folk ( and you SF people as well!!) at Animate tomorrow night, I'll probably be spinning at some point, and it should be loads of fun! 3 Dollar Drink Specials!!!!

I'll be at the Synapscape/Asche show on Thursday for sure, and I'll probably show up on Saturday aswell for Spin This! and Cdatakill... so I hope to see you all there.
what else... school midterms are still going... I have a lot of studio work to do, and a paper and presentation (the presentation is on Luigi Russolo, so I'm happy!) due on Friday morning (that'll be fun with the synapscape show the night before, heh)!
Which means I need to get better! I'll take chicken soup donations and tea for the make Elliott get Better fund!
I think I might go to SF MOMA (San Francisco Museum Of Modern Art for those of you not good with acronyms ;) on thursday with my friend Morgan.
